YOU WILL NEED
HOW TO APPLY KINESIOLOGY TAPE FOR THE ACHILLES
Measure your tape, and then rip the backing paper into three sections.
The first section will form the base anchor.
The second section will cover the achilles tendon and muscle tendon unit.
The third section will be stuck over gastrocnemius..

Lay section one (your first base) under the heel with no stretch.
Put the calf into stretch.

Lay the second section of the tape over the Achilles tendon with 50% stretch.
Take care after taping to mould the tape around the tendon.

Maintain a stretch on the calf.
Lay the rest of the tape along the belly of gastrocnemius with 0% tension.
Finish by rubbing the glue to activate the adhesion.
