This application method is perfect for TAPING BICEPS, and in particular, K Taping for BICEPS TENDONITIS.

Kinesiology Tape may be used to help provide pain relief and support to injured areas. All you need is a sharp pair of scissors, 2 MINUTES of your time and a little practice and patience.

  • Measure a strip of tape along the length of the bicep and cut an I STRIP.

  • Round the edges (discover how) and tear the backing paper in 2 sections.

  • Apply the end of the tape to the front of the chest, just above the bicep tendon.


  • Apply the next section of tape with 50% STRETCH directly over the bicep tendon.

  • Stretch the arm down and behind, making it as straight as possible. This places the bicep muscle on stretch.

  • Stick the rest of the strip down with 0% STRETCH, aiming directly down the belly of the muscle.


  • Cut a short I STRIP of tape, round the corners and rip the backing paper into 3 sections.

  • Remove the middle of the backing paper and apply the tape with 50% STRETCH over the biceps tendon.

  • Stick the ends of the tape down with 0% STRETCH.

  • Rub the tape to activate the glue. Wait at least 30 MINUTES before beginning any exercise.
