Here’s our top 3 tips to help YOU apply K TAPE with ease and GUARANTEED success…

HOW TO USE KINESIOLOGY TAPE

How to use Kinesiology Tape - step 1 - round the corners

1. ROUND THOSE CORNERS

It’s really important to round the corners of each tape strip you cut, and investing in a specialist pair of K Taping scissors will help with this.

They’re sharper, give you an easier cut with neater edges and helping to minimise fraying at the end of the tape.

How to use Kinesiology Tape - step 2 - don't touch the glue

2. DON’T TOUCH THE GLUE!

The MOMENT you touch the glue it loses some of its’ adhesion, so avoid at all costs! QUICK TIP: rip the backing paper, and peel away from the tape.

This will help you to stick the tape directly to the skin, without touching ANY of the adhesive. Job done.

How to use Kinesiology Tape - step 3 - rub to activate

3. RUB TO ACTIVATE

This creates heat, which helps to activate the glue after application.

SPORTTAPE is incredibly durable, but ALWAYS try to apply a minimum of 30 mins before activity to ensure the tape is properly stuck.

If you follow these little nuggets of genius, you’re GUARANTEED to get the best results for your clients.

But REMEMBER: there are NO RULES, only GUIDELINES on the path to taping greatness. These are just a few tips to make YOUR life easier, and the only way to master them is through PRACTICE!
