HOW TO TAPE YOUR THUMB FOR CROSSFIT
If you’re taping your thumb for Crossfit you’re more than likely using a Hook Grip for your Olympic lifts.
Hook grip for will give you greater grip strength, but be pretty rough on your thumbs.Taping your thumbs will help protect them from the friction of the bar and keep your grip from slipping.
Simply wrap an even layer of 5CM TEAR EAB around your thumb, twice around should do it. TEAR EAB can be ripped by hand so the scissors can stay in the drawer.
