If you’re a K TAPE aficionado you will notice a slight difference. The fabric is slightly lighter and the adhesion more aggressive.
Our K TAPE can last up to 5 days. However, the greatest effects of kinesiology tape are felt within the first 24 hours of wear.
We would recommend removing kinesiology tape after 48hrs, since the positive effects are greatly diminished and to reduce the possibility of skin irritation.
The number one reason for applications failing is that the skin hasn’t been prepped before application. Whenever and wherever possible shave the area prior to taping. The make sure you get taped up at least 30 minutes prior to exercise.
We hear you. This is sticky stuff. Best option is to soak the tape in warm soapy water, then gently peel away from the corner to the direction of your hair.
I have been using kinesis-tape for my patients for many years and have tried numerous makes. I discovered Sporttape and have used nothing else for the last 7 years. It adheres well without leaving a sticky residue on removal, and very few people have an adverse reaction to the tape / adhesive. I needed to contact customer service with an enquiry a few years ago and they were incredibly friendly and helpful, resolving my issue immediately. Also extremely prompt delivery. This tape is worth getting, it stays put without lifting off. Also they send info to their YouTube tutorials on how best to use it based on what injury or area needing protection you’ve got.
