EXTRA STICKY GLUE
The waterproof adhesive, guarantees your applications stay stuck
We’ve bench-marked the best and made our ZINC OXIDE TAPES 20% stronger.
No need for scissors. Ideal for fast applications in the changing rooms or on the go.
Patented EASY PEEL technology means a smooth and easy unwind.
We use a porous glue. This allows your skin to breath without compromising adhesion.
ZINC OXIDE TAPES are rigid (non-stretch). This means they are perfect for immobilising, restricting range of motion, and providing support for a ligament or muscle.
ZINC OXIDE WHITE is widely used to protect non-weight bearing joints; fingers, wrists and thumbs from the inevitable injuries in contact sports. Meanwhile, ZINC OXIDE TAN is the tape of choice for protecting ankles and knees.
As a side-effect of being incredibly durable ZINC OXIDE tapes are used for blister prevention. ZINCE OXIDE WHITE is primarily used around hands whilst ZINC OXIDE TAN protects the feet.
ZINC OXIDE tapes are inelastic, which means they don’t stretch. You can use this rigidity to help restrict and prevent painful movements, or movements that may cause further injury.
The rigid nature of ZINC OXIDE tapes means they can be used to provide structural support to muscles and joints, acting as external slings that protect or reposition muscles and joints.
ZINC OXIDE tapes can provide protection for your skin and joints, especially when grappling, climbing or weightlifting. Using ZINC OXIDE tape reduces the risk of dislocations, blisters, calluses, grazes and cuts.
BY THE BEST
- HOW DOES ZINC OXIDE TAPE WORK?
ZINC OXIDE TAPE is non-stretchy, has high tensile strength, strong adhesion and conforms to the skin. Because it doesn’t stretch, it is perfect for immobilising joints or creating changes in muscle, or joint position.
- IS ZINC OXIDE TAPE GOOD FOR BLISTERS?
ZINC OXIDE TAPE TAN is a great option if you want to reduce the risk of blisters. Read our blog now and discover how it has been used by ultra distance runners with great effect.
It works by preventing your shoe or sock from rubbing directly against the skin. It is incredibly sticky, but also lightweight and breathable. This means that moisture passes through the tape and prevents blisters from forming due to excess moisture around the foot.
- WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ZINC OXIDE WHITE AND TAN?
ZINC OXIDE TAN is made from a rayon cloth, which provides unrivalled tensile strength. It is 3 x stronger and more durable than ZINC OXIDE WHITE, which is made from an organic cotton cloth. Cotton is more lightweight, pliable and comfortable to wear.
The tape you choose should be based on budget, joint size and the purpose of the taping application.
- WHAT WIDTH ZINC OXIDE TAPE SHOULD I USE?
Our ZINC OXIDE TAPE comes in 4 sizes; 1.25CM / 2.5CM / 3.8CM / 5CM
1.25CM – Often referred to as “finger tape” it is predominately used for fingers. This is most popular within martial arts, in particular BJJ where grappling is heavily involved
2.5CM – Hugely popular within boxing for hand strapping. Also great around the wrist and thumb.
3.8CM – The most commonly used size of ZINC OXIDE TAPE. Perfect for ankle, wrist and knee taping.
5CM – For large joints. Knees and shoulder taping. In which case it is often used in conjunction with EAB TAPE.
- CAN ZINC OXIDE TAPE BE RE-USED?
Unfortunately ZINC OXIDE TAPE is for single use only.
- IS ZINC OXIDE TAPE WATERPROOF?
ZINC OXIDE TAPE is not waterproof but it is water resistant. However, unlike other tapes, our glue is laid to make sure the tape is porous, allowing the skin to breath and moisture to wick away more easily.
As a result it is more suited to withstand the demands of sport. Our ZINC OXIDE TAPE has been used by water sports athletes with great success.
- I’M ALLERGIC TO ELASTOPLAST, WILL I GET A REACTION TO ZINC OXIDE TAPE?
Our ZINC OXIDE glues don’t contain any colophony or rosin, which are the normal irritants for anyone with an Elastoplast allergy.
However, we would recommend that anyone with an Elastoplast allergy trials a small test patch before using ZINC OXIDE TAPE as the skin sensitivity may disagree with any kind of adhesive against it.
- WHY DO FIGHTERS TAPE THIER FINGERS?
Finger Taping is used by fighters in martial arts for 2 main reasons:
1. To increase grip strength when grappling
2. To reduce lateral movement and rotation of fingers

Have been getting through a lot of Zinc oxide tape as my daughter plays netball four times a week and needs ankle support. Bought in bulk and delivered quickly 😃
I've used a lot of different zinc oxide tapes over the last forty years, and this one is nowhere near the best, or the worst. The one thing I like about this stuff is how easily you can tear it. Might seem like not a big deal, but being able to apply it to yourself and rip it easily is a big deal for me. Where it really lets itself down is how the adhesive breaks down when it's damp. It doesn't like blood, sweat and tears (and water) much at all. It just about does the job, but it's far from exceptional.
It's not all bad. It can't be, I've just bought another sizeable order to get the bulk discount. Partly I confess, it's because I'm trying to support a local business rather than give Amazon even more money. Plus, I can't be bothered to try another load of brands out. Oh, and finally, they need to ditch the absolutely pointless single use plastic wrapping every roll has. It's ridiculous and unnecessary.
