What do you mean 2024 is almost over?

What a year! I don't think it's an understatement to say that this year was pretty monumental. It really felt like we took things to the very next level.

From bringing in new members of the team, to launching game-changing new products, to moving into our swanky new HQ, it's been non-stop. We're going to try and avoid as many of the standard new years cliches as we can, but let's have a quick recap of 2024 in the world of all things SPORTTAPE. 

It's growing and growing fast! This year, we welcomed our brand new graphic designer, Jess and content creator, Vicky to the team. So, if you were wondering why our social media game has gone up a level, that's down to them. 

From a personal, and generally more sporting perspective, it's been a hugely impressive year for the whole team. In the past 12 months, we've completed marathons, ultra marathons, a ton of HYROX's and competed at the very highest level in Welsh football. We're expecting our line-up to increase even more in 2025, so there's going to be even more new faces to meet.

We'd been looking forward to our move for agesssssss. 

In May we finally moved in to our new Unit. It took a crazy amount of time building, organising and decorating, but now, I think even Carl (co-founder), would say he's happy with it all. It took a while for us all to get used to the upgrade in size and now we're sat in the office constantly questioning how we all fit in our old place!

We've still got some big plans for it, but our HQ was definitely a huge highlight this year.

It takes so much time to launch a new product. We could take you through the full process, but just trust me when I say, it's long! From planning, to designing, to testing, to launching. It's not an overnight job.

We brought some game-changers to our range this year. In no particular order, we have:

• Tuff Cut Scissors - Our brand new bandage scissors are designed for match-day emergencies and everyday first-aid. They've become very popular among our match day physios.
• Boxing Gauze - We're yet to give these the full socials treatment, but our Gauze are designed for maximal comfort underneath strapping tape and gloves in any sort of combat sport.
• Tees - Alright, fine, other than looking cooler, these aren't going to help you pitchside. However, if we can see more people repping SPORTTAPE in one of our new Tees, it's a win.
• Tape-Off Spray - Pain-free tape removal, the cherry on top, if you will. Our brand new tape removal spray is already making a lot of hairy rugby players very happy!

Expect plenty more exciting announcements in the new year...

The list of countries that SPORTTAPE has been spotted in this year is nuts! 

We've worked closely with lots of big events, like Ultra X, WhyWeRun and the CrossFit Games and by doing that, there have been SPORTTAPE sightings in Asia, Africa, the Americas and beyond. Which feels pretty surreal if you ask us.

Our international distributors deserve a shoutout too. If we carry on at the rate we're going, you could be seeing our tape wherever you go. There's no escaping...

It was the 2012 Olympics where we really made our name. Supporting Olympians and World Champions has been on our banner since day one and that definitely hasn't changed this year. As the new and official tape suppliers for teams like, GB Snowsport, Team Jayco-AlUla and Chile Rugby, we've been able to help support athletes competing at the very highest of their sports all year long. 

Our affiliates have fought the good fight this year too. Tagging us in their content and showing all the unique and individual ways that they use tape to stay at the top of their game. 

Our mission of supporting one million athletes continues in the new year...
