You'll use these for controlling nosebleeds during or after contact sports. They're particularly valuable in boxing, rugby, martial arts, and any activity where facial impact is common.

The cotton absorbs blood and helps your body's natural clotting process. By controlling the flow and providing pressure, they give clots time to form and seal the bleeding vessel.

Insert only half the plug length into the nostril, let the rest stick out for easy removal. One plug per nostril maximum , don't try to cram multiple plugs into the same side. Both nostrils can be plugged if needed, but follow the half-length rule for each. Never leave someone unsupervised while their nostrils are plugged, always monitor breathing.

Remove them once bleeding has stopped and clotting has occurred — usually within 10-20 minutes. Don't leave them in longer than necessary, and never leave someone unattended while plugs are in place
