WHAT IS IT?

This 4-hour workshop will guide you through, the fundamentals of sports taping. These include, choosing the best tape, handling tape and 6 practical applications. The course cost includes a tape bundle worth £40 to use and take away.

CHRIS JENKINS

Chris has worked in every level of rugby imaginable, from grassroots, all the way up to being a Head Physiotherapist at the Rugby World Cup in 2019, the London 2012 Games and the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

BEN WARBURTON

Ben has worked as a Physiotherapist in elite sport for over a decade, with the majority of that time spent at Cardiff Rugby, but also with the WRU, heading up the medical team for Wales Sevens.

IS THIS WORKSHOP SUITABLE FOR NOVICES?

Absolutely. This workshop is perfect for therapists, athletes, and anyone in-between who wants to use strapping tape. You don’t need to be a therapist to gain the knowledge and skills to be able to tape your players.

However, attending this course doesn’t provide you with a formal qualification or insurance to tape. You will need to consult your club and their insurance provider before applying tape to your players.

IS THERE ANY PRE-READING?

Nothing that’s essential. We’ll email you some research if you want to peruse the science of why we tape because we won’t touch much on it during the course. We prefer to focus on the practical.

IS TAPE PROVIDED FOR THE COURSE?

Yes! We will provide all the tape you need for the course. If you want to purchase some in advance you can do so for collection on the day.
